and a project to help me learn Ruby on Rails

Three possible use-cases for reminderss:

1. Sites that don't have RSS, but should

   Can't subscribe? Set a reminderss, so that you can return to the site at a later date

2. Sites you want to browse the old-fashioned way

   The rss feed may not be exactly what you want, or too much data, or you just enjoy viewing the page in its layout glory

3. Reminders

   You need to buy milk, and you want to be reminded of this in your RSS Reader of choice.
